Bioclimatic Pergola and custom made and photovoltaic canopy

Custom made aluminium structure to support the embedded modules with directable blades, fixed roofing with closed blades effect, canopy with photovoltaic panels, vertical sunbraker panels, flower pot, strip led lighting and sound system.
The client asked to have at his disposal a space to enjoy as an external house.
Once solved the technical and structural issues, we focused on the project concept, which turned into a natural and balanced extension of the internal space, creating a wide open air living.
The spotlight is on the swimming pool, which inspired the shape of the cover system all around. It sorrounds the pool and projects the view beyond the roof top, towards the sea.
The use of structural aluminium profiles with internal steel supports, makes free shape of the main structure, with cantilever component and a 9 meters long spans, possible.
The different covering types, bioclimatich modules and fixed roofing, are designed to reproduce the same “closed blades effect” on the lower part.
Vertical sunbraker panels sorrounding the structure boundary lending space further uniformity. The specific blades inclineis studied to guarantee air flow and privacy.
