FROM A DREAM PENTHOUSE… TO A REALITY
Inspections, meetings with the customer on site, surveys, measures, sketched drawings on the concrete curbs… This is how this new penthouse in Trieste began to take shape. It is essential from the first moment to interpret the needs of the customer, respecting the general. The project was carried out by the architect Massimiliano Marfan.
We are talking about a spacious terrace designed as an extension of the interior creating a classy open-air living, with swimming pool, solarium area, lounge area with garden. Also recreated an ideal space for outdoor lunches and dinners completed with an outdoor kitchen.
How to ensure maximum comfort, ease of use and energy savings for this charming penthouse?
We proposed bioclimatic design pergolas to shield the windows, adjust the light for the lounge area, to use the terrace even on rainy days and in the evening to protect from moisture. We have designed an aluminum supporting structure with internal fixings and reinforcements to minimize maintenance. The structure is designed to develop with different shapes, large modules where to integrate the adjustable blades and elongated parts to support the photovoltaic panels.
To ensure elegance to all parts of the terrace we have designed custom-made aluminum coatings to hide the photovoltaic panels. When the bioclimatic pergolas are closed, you have the perception of having a single large cover.
